How a visit runs
From address to after-photos.
01
Site review
Send photos or an address. We confirm airspace, surfaces, water access, and a safe flight plan before a crew is booked.
02
Ground setup
A compact crew stages from the lot. Tethered water, FAA-compliant flight, and a walkthrough with your site contact.
03
Precision wash
Pilots fly a controlled pattern. Purified water lifts film and grit without brushes grinding dirt into glass or silicon.
04
Proof of shine
You get completion photos, notes on any damage we spotted from the air, and a recommended return interval.
Soiling tax
What is dust costing the array?
Soiled modules quietly clip production — often 5–30%, depending on pollen, dust, and agriculture. This is an indicative annual recovery using 1,400 kWh per kW, a conservative U.S. average. Not a guarantee.
0
Feet climbed
Nobody on your roof. Nobody on a ladder.
30%
Output recovered
Soiled panels can lose this much production.
50%
Less water
Versus conventional pressure-and-brush crews.
107
Part 107
Certified remote pilots, not hobby flyers.
Proof
Operators, owners, homeowners.
“We used to shut a wing of the hotel and roll a lift through the porte-cochère. Platinum flew the elevation before lunch. Guests never knew.”
“The soiling loss on our 4 MW rooftop was obvious in the production data. After the wash, we picked up a clean 18% in the following week.”
“Two-story glass over a steep ravine lot. Every window company wanted scaffolding. They pulled up, flew it, and were gone in an hour.”
Questions
Before you book.
Will this scratch my panels or glass?+–
No brushes grinding grit into the surface. We use purified water at a controlled pressure so film lifts off instead of being scrubbed in. That is the point of flying it.
Do you use chemicals or soap?+–
We fly a Lucid Bots Sherpa with biodegradable solutions which won’t leave a residue. No brushes. No grit ground into coatings. Safe for panels, roofs, and the environment.
Are the pilots actually certified?+–
Yes. Every flight is under FAA Part 107 by a certified remote pilot, with airspace checks, insurance, and a written ops plan. We do not freelance hobby aircraft on your property.
How often should solar be cleaned?+–
Minimum twice a year. Four times a year is optimal in Arizona — dust, monsoon film, and bird droppings. That quarterly cadence is what we recommend on every solar quote.
Do I need to be on site?+–
For homes, someone should provide access to outdoor water and confirm pets are inside. For commercial sites we coordinate with facilities — we do not need roof access or interior keys.
What about weather and wind?+–
We do not fly in rain, electrical storms, or winds outside the aircraft envelope. If a window closes, we reschedule. You are not billed for a grounded day.
Can you reach a high-rise?+–
Often, yes — with line-of-sight, a water tether, and airspace clearance. Some dense downtown sites need extra coordination. Send the address; we will tell you straight if a drone is the wrong tool.
Can you remove graffiti?+–
Yes. We fly tagged siding, lot walls, and high masonry with biodegradable removers that won’t leave a residue. Homes and occupied sites stay open — no lift in the drive.
