Platinum Drone Cleaning

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Booking, approving a quote, or paying an invoice is acceptance of these Terms.

1. Who we are

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern services provided by Platinum Drone Cleaning (“Platinum,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), reachable at (480) 331-5177 and tristan@platinumdronecleaning.com, and the use of platinumdronecleaning.com. “You” or “Client” means the person or business that requests, approves, or pays for service, and anyone authorized to give us access to the property.

We clean solar panels and exterior building glass, and related exterior surfaces we agree in writing to clean, using FAA Part 107 remote pilots and a tethered cleaning aircraft. The standard method uses purified water, does not put crew on the roof, and does not use ladders or boom lifts. Biodegradable cleaning chemistry is used only when the surface and the soiling call for it. We are an official partner of Lucid Bots. We are fully insured. Proof of insurance is available on request.

2. Acceptance

You accept these Terms when you request a quote, approve a quote or estimate in Jobber or in writing (including by email or text), schedule a visit, allow us on the property, or pay an invoice. If you approve a quote for a property you manage, you represent that you have authority to bind the owner and to authorize the work. The quote, these Terms, and any written change order are the whole agreement. If a signed quote conflicts with these Terms, the quote controls for price, scope, and schedule only.

3. Quotes and scope

Online ranges and the figure that appears as you type on the quote form are indicative only. They are not a fixed price. A binding price is the amount on a quote or invoice we issue after we have enough site information, or the amount we confirm in writing after a site review.

Scope is limited to the surfaces, elevations, and array areas described on the quote. The following are outside scope unless the quote says otherwise: interior glass, screens, frames, sills, hard-water etching, paint oxidation, oxidized metal, failed window seals, broken or delaminated modules, graffiti on a surface we did not price, and any coating, sealant, or restoration work.

We may revise the price before work starts if the site differs from what was described — for example, more square footage, no safe ground staging, restricted airspace, heavy biological growth, or access that requires a return visit. We will tell you before we proceed on the revised price.

4. Scheduling, weather, and airspace

Service windows are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., unless we agree otherwise. Arrival times are windows, not guaranteed clock times.

Drone cleaning depends on weather, wind, visibility, and legal airspace. We may delay or stop a visit, with no cancellation fee, for wind, rain, lightning, dust, low visibility, a temporary flight restriction, airport or LAANC denial, or any condition the pilot judges unsafe. We will offer the next reasonable date. We do not guarantee a same-day makeup.

Every flight is conducted under 14 C.F.R. Part 107 by a certificated remote pilot, with an airspace check and a written plan for the site. You do not need your own FAA authorization for a standard visit. If a waiver, authorization, or property-specific permit is required and is not already in hand, the visit waits until it is.

5. What you provide

You agree to:

  • Give us safe ground access, a staging area for the aircraft, hose, and crew, and any gate, garage, or roof-edge clearance we reasonably need. We do not need roof access for a standard clean.
  • Must have access to a water spigot to refill the water that was used on the job.
  • Keep people, pets, vehicles, and loose items out of the flight and overspray area while we are working, and turn off sprinklers on the working side.
  • Tell us about hazards before we fly: loose panels, cracked glass, known leaks, skylights, solar edge protection, pool cages, overhead lines, nearby helipads, active construction, or HOA / airport rules.
  • Get any owner, tenant, HOA, or property-manager approval the site requires. HOA or building rules are your responsibility. We will provide insurance and Part 107 documentation on request to help you get that approval.
  • Make sure anyone on a balcony, patio, or upper window knows we will be flying the face of the building.

If we cannot safely fly because access, people, pets, or an undisclosed hazard block the work, the visit may be treated as a late cancellation under Section 8.

6. How the clean is performed

Solar glass is cleaned from the air with purified water at controlled flow. We do not walk the array and we do not brush grit across the glass as the standard method. Building glass and agreed exterior surfaces are washed from the air. Where a soft wash is needed, we use a biodegradable solution matched to the surface, followed by a purified-water rinse when the surface calls for it.

Results depend on the surface. Soiling, dust, pollen, monsoon film, and fresh droppings are what the service is built to remove. We do not remove etching, mineral staining baked into glass, failed low-E coatings, oxidation, or factory defects. A clean can restore output lost to soiling. We do not guarantee a production percentage, a utility-bill reduction, or that monitoring will show a specific gain. Output also depends on weather, inverter health, shading, and the array itself.

Graffiti removal, when quoted, uses a biodegradable remover on the surfaces named in the quote. Shadowing, ghosting, or a different sheen can remain on porous masonry, painted siding, and aged coatings. We will tell you if a test spot suggests the mark will not lift cleanly.

7. Property condition and manufacturer warranties

You are responsible for the condition of the property before we arrive. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, including cracked modules, loose clamps, failed window seals, prior water intrusion, degraded sealant, or landscaping already in poor condition. Tell us about known damage before we start. We may refuse any surface the pilot believes is unsafe or likely to be harmed.

Our method is designed to avoid foot traffic and abrasive contact on solar glass. Module warranties are written by the manufacturer and the installer, not by us. We do not promise that a third-party warranty will respond to a claim, and you should keep your own warranty documents. On request we will describe the method in writing for your installer or manufacturer.

8. Rescheduling and cancellation

  • Weather, airspace, or safety delays by us: no fee. We reschedule.
  • You reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the arrival window: no fee.
  • You cancel inside 24 hours, no-show, or we cannot access the site: a trip fee of $75 on a residential visit, or the mobilization amount stated on a commercial quote (if none is stated, $150).
  • If crew is already on site and you stop the work for a reason that is not safety-related, you owe the greater of the trip fee or the portion of the quoted price for work already completed.

A deposit, if one is stated on the quote, is applied to the invoice. If you cancel inside 24 hours, the deposit may be kept up to the trip fee, and the rest is refunded or credited.

9. Price and payment

The price is the quote you approved, plus any written change order, applicable taxes, and any trip fee actually incurred. Residential first visits and one-time cleans are due on completion unless the quote says otherwise. Commercial accounts are Net 15 from the invoice date unless the quote states different terms (Net 30 only when we have agreed it in writing). Recurring cleans are billed per visit or as the service agreement states.

We invoice and take payment through Jobber, including card and ACH where those options are offered. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the approved amount. A returned or declined payment incurs a $25 handling fee, plus any bank charge we actually incur.

Past-due balances accrue a late charge of 1.5% per month (18% per year), or the highest rate Arizona law allows, whichever is less, starting on the day after the due date. You also owe reasonable costs of collection, including attorneys’ fees, if we have to collect a past-due commercial balance. We may pause future visits until the account is current.

10. Recurring service

In the Phoenix area we generally recommend solar cleaning at least twice a year, and four times a year where dust, monsoon film, or droppings are heavy. A recurring plan continues until either party cancels. You may cancel a recurring plan with notice before the next scheduled visit. We may change recurring prices with 30 days’ notice; the new price applies to visits after that notice. Skipping a visit inside 24 hours is treated as a late cancellation.

11. Photos and records

We may record video or photograph the site before and after the clean for our job record and your invoice. We will not publish photos that identify your home or building in advertising, on the website, or on social media without your consent. You may withhold that consent with no effect on the price.

12. Insurance and your property

We carry commercial insurance for our operations and will send a certificate on request. Our insurance is not a maintenance policy for the building or the array. Report any concern about our work before we leave the site if you can, and in any event within 5 business days, so we can inspect while conditions are unchanged. If the issue is caused by our work, our remedy is, at our option, to re-clean the affected surface or to refund the price of that surface.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Arizona law allows, Platinum is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, including lost solar production, lost rents, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising out of a visit is limited to the amount you paid us for that visit. We are not liable for delay caused by weather, airspace, or a condition at the site we did not create.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any right that Arizona law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, statutory rights you cannot waive still apply.

14. Indemnity (commercial clients)

If you are booking for a business, association, or property you manage, you will indemnify Platinum against third-party claims to the extent they arise from your failure to secure site approval, your undisclosed hazard, or your instruction to proceed after we flagged a risk — except to the extent the claim is caused by our negligence.

15. Website use

The website is for requesting information and quotes. A form submission is a request, not a booked job. Do not send confidential information you would not want stored in our estimating system. We may refuse any request. Site content is ours; do not copy it for a competing service.

16. Disputes, law, and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona, are the exclusive venue, except that we may pursue a past-due invoice in any court that has jurisdiction. Before filing, the complaining party will email a short description of the dispute and allow 15 days to try to resolve it.

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on the website. The version in effect when you approve a quote applies to that job. Continued use of the website after a posting is acceptance of the new website terms.
