How drone solar panel cleaning works

01 — Site review

Send photos or an address. We confirm airspace, surfaces, water access, setbacks, and a safe flight plan before a crew is booked. If a drone is the wrong tool, you hear that here — not on the morning of the visit.

02 — Ground setup

A small crew stages from the driveway, lot, or pool deck. The water tether keeps volume up so the aircraft does not land on the array to refill. Homes need outdoor water and pets inside. Commercial sites coordinate with facilities. We do not need roof access or interior keys.

03 — Precision wash

The pilot flies a pattern matched to the string layout. Purified water lifts film and grit without a brush grinding dirt into silicon. Pressure is controlled. Adjacent cars, landscaping, and occupancy stay in the plan — this is a jobsite, not a demo reel.

04 — Proof of shine

You get completion photos, notes on any damage we spotted from the air, and a recommended return interval. Production should step up on the next clear week. If you want the dollar version of that step-up before you book, the soiling calculator is on the solar page.

What you do not see

Ladders on fascia. A lift in the flower bed. Someone walking your shingles. The diamond in the mark is the point: the finish should look detailed, not blasted. We would rather decline a building than grind grit into glass.

How long does a visit take?+

Most homes are done in a visit, not a project. Commercial rooftops and farm blocks scale with acreage and access. Hours, not days, is the design goal.

Do I need to be on site?+

For homes, someone should provide water access and confirm pets are inside. For commercial, facilities is enough. We do not need to enter the building.

What if the wind comes up?+

We abort. Weather abort authority sits with the pilot in command. A grounded day is rescheduled, not billed.
